Overview
Wood veneer doors deliver the warmth and authentic appearance of real wood at a more accessible price point. Because the veneer is applied over an engineered substrate, the door tends to be more dimensionally stable than solid wood, resisting warping and movement caused by humidity fluctuations. Veneer also allows for a consistent grain and color match across multiple doors in a space, which can be difficult to achieve with solid wood. Rare or exotic wood species can be used as a veneer without the cost or sustainability concerns of using solid lumber.
